We are supporting the 49er Gold Rush 5K this year! This 5K is held on campus, so if you don’t get around campus much here is a way to see it from the “ground”. Runners and Walkers are welcome. This is open to anyone and everyone…so join us!

Bring us your best desserts for the judging. All entries will be included in the Fan Favoriate Vote!

Categories for entry:

  • Cake/Cupcake
  • Pie/Cobbler
  • Cookies, Brownies and Bars
  • Bread/Muffins
  • Confections (candy, dudge, haystacks)

List of ingredients need to be provided. Please label any items considered Gluten-Free or Low-Fat

2023 Staff Homecoming Decorating Contest

We want to see your Niner Pride especially during Homecoming! There are two ways that you can enter, as an individual or as an office. Enter by October 6, 2023 by 5:00 P.M.  Judging will take place on October 12, 2023. The winners will be selected based on theme and originality in an office setting and an individual.  Winners will receive a prize.

Guidelines and Rules:

  • Remember to use School Colors!

Safety First!

  • No String Lights or other objects where others have to walk.
  • Use only non-flammable decorations.
  • No items can be placed around or covering lights.
  • Decorations cannot restrict the views of Exit Signs.
  • Decorations cannot restrict movement through hallways, entrances and exits of offices or buildings.

2023 Fall Festival

Staff Council invites all staff to celebrate, You!

Please join us in celebrating, all staff for our annual Fall Festival on:

October 24, 2023
Student Activity Center (SAC)
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Our charity to help this year is Camino. This charity has been helping the Charlotte community and surrounding areas for the last 25 years and continues to serve as a multicultural health center. They offer four service areas to help the community: Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Health and Wellness, and Food Security.

Like all charities, Camino runs on donations. Items in need are coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, socks, canned goods, non-perishable food items, and hygiene items for adults, children and infants. You can also donate via their website.

To celebrate, you, as a staff member, the Staff Council Events committee has put together an afternoon of food, music, vendors, and games!

Lunch and food will include:
